Law Center Welcomes Phillip Wilson

The Law Center welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors, adding Phillip E. Wilson, Jr. in May. Mr. Wilson is a shareholder at Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, where he represents corporate clients and individuals in business litigation and has more than a decade of experience representing some of the country’s leading insurance companies in his insurance coverage practice.

Phillip WilsonMr. Wilson graduated magna cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 1996, where he was editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and a member of the Temple Law Review. He earned his BA from Kenyon College in 1991. Following law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Shenkin of the Chester County (Pa.) Court of Common Pleas (1996 – 1997). Prior to joining Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, he was a partner with DLA Piper US LLP.

Working with the Law Center and the ACLU of Pennsylvania on voting access in Chester County, Mr. Wilson successfully represented disenfranchised African-American voters in Pennsylvania in their suit against the county Board of Elections to move their polling place to a safe and accessible location.
