The Law Center is pleased to welcome Katherine Hatton to its Board of Directors. She was elected by the board at their August meeting.

Katherine Hatton is vice president, general counsel and secretary of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She was drawn to the foundation by its mission-driven approach to social change and focus on improving health and health care for all Americans. Prior to joining the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Katherine was vice president and general counsel at Philadelphia Newspapers, Inc., where she oversaw the legal affairs of the company in both business and First Amendment matters. In 2016, she was named General Counsel of the Year for New Jersey nonprofits and government organizations. She is the former chair of the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and has served in leadership positions and as a member of the boards of numerous other national and regional nonprofit organizations.
