Lehigh University’s 40th Annual Education Law Conference: The Evolution of a Revolution

Event Description:
On Friday, May 11th, Law Center attorney Sonja Kerr will participate in Lehigh University’s 40th Annual Education Law Conference, a full-day program on a variety of topics in special education and the law. Ms. Kerr will take part in a conversation entitled “Appropriate Autism Programming and LRE: Not Mutually Exclusive.”

The conversation, in dialogue with school attorney Timothy E. Gilsbach and moderated by disability attorney Lily Yazno-Bartle, will discuss important questions about the obligation to provide supports in an inclusive setting, and about the variety of options to consider when crafting an IEP for a student on the autistic spectrum.
