Sonja Kerr, Director of Disability Rights, will be presenting at the national conference of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates on March 8-9. COPAA is an organization of parents of children with disabilities, their advocates and attorneys. Ms. Kerr will present on “Special Education Finance,” exploring the financial aspects of special education as many schools are having financial difficulties. With colleague Dorene Philpot, she will also be presenting on “Systemic Change” and how to accomplish it. Ms. Kerr is a member of the COPAA board and was its first chairperson.
