The Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center (PBPC) strives through research and advocacy to demystify tax and budget policies, separate truth from myth and ensure policy debates are grounded in the facts. To mark its 5th anniversary , PBPC presented the Law Center, the ACLU of Pennsylvania, The Advancement Project, and Arnold & Porter with the “Be the Change Award” in honor of our work challenging Pennsylvania’s voter ID law. The PBPC also presented Legislative Leadership Awards to state Representatives Gene DiGirolamo and Thomas Murt.
